Class 2 LGV Driver / Transporter

Class 2 LGV Driver / TransporterThe Class 2 LGV Driver / Transporter is responsible for transport and logistics operations for an industry-leading manufacturer, ensuring the safe and timely movement of materials and products. The role also supports product testing and on-site logistics activities. Varied working pattern, driver will need to be flexible on working hours and overnight stays will be required at least twice per month.
Key Responsibilities
Vehicle & Compliance Ensure vehicle is roadworthy, fully maintained, and compliant with UK legal and company standards
Complete daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
Maintain compliance with MOT, fleet, and site safety requirements
Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE
Report hazards or incidents promptly Transport & Logistics Plan efficient routes to optimise time, cost, and fuel usage
Carry out deliveries, collections, and returns between suppliers, customers, and internal teams
