Class 2 Drivers

Class 2 Drivers needed for our client based in Tamworth. Ongoing role Monday to Friday with start times between 4:00 and 6:00. Pay: Weekday £15.00 plus holiday pay, Weekend £16.50 plus holiday pay, Night out £25.00.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily checks on the assigned vehicle.
• Complete minor repairs to vehicles when appropriate.
• Report any damage, defects, or wear‑and‑tear to the Transport Team.
• Ensure load is strapped down.
• Drive a Class 2 lorry to and from customer locations, including up to 10 drops.
• Handle hand‑balling; no dirty work.
• Communicate with customers and the Transport Team about delivery status and whereabouts.
• Manage driving time to avoid infringements.
• Night out may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months Class 2 driving experience.
• Strapping and loading experience.
