Class 2 Driver / Surface Preparation Operative

The Best Connection are looking for a reliable Class 2 Driver / Surface Preparation Operative to safely deliver plant and materials while supporting surface preparation work on-site.

Pay Rates

  • £18.50 per hour (Monday to Friday)
  • ⏱️ Minimum 10 hours paid per shift
  • Weekend overtime paid at time and a half

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a Class 2 vehicle and hookloader to transport plant and machinery
  • ✅ Carry out daily vehicle checks and follow road safety regulations
  • Assist with site preparation, including cleaning and setup
  • Load/unload equipment and support the site team

✅ Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence, CPC, and digital tachograph
