Location: Thetford
Hours: 43 hours per week, typically starting between 03:30 and 04:00
Qualifications
- Full UK Driving Licence with Class C entitlement
- Full CPC
Responsibilities
- Supported with a 6‑week induction and in‑house driver training
- Punctual early‑shift start (around 3:30 am) with afternoons off
- Use delivery notes or an electronic device to accurately pick and load bakery products
- Apply basic vehicle maintenance and transport legislation knowledge (Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, Highway Code)
- Load route into onboard computer and complete deliveries to multiple customers each day
- Provide high‑quality customer service, build strong relationships, and handle difficult conversations professionally
- Work a rotating 5‑day a week pattern including weekends (43 hours a week, but typical week can be less)
