Class 1 Shunter in Bedford

Ideal Recruit is currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Shunters for a well-established client based in Bedford.

This is a full time opportunity with guaranteed shifts and consistent work.

Duties:

• Driver will be responsible for safely shunting articulated lorries and trailers within a yard
• Shift times: 16:00-04:00, 17:00-05:00 or 18:00-06:00
• 4 on, 4 off shift pattern

Pay rates PAYE: (holiday pay included in rate).

• Monday to Friday: £21.98 per hour.
• Monday to Friday overtime: £26.18 per hour
• Saturday and Sunday: £25.00 per hour
• Weekend overtime: £29.86 per hour

Requirements:

• Assessment required before starting.

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 12 months of experience as a Class 1 driver.
