Class 1 HGV Driver

About the role

This is a casual/zero-hours position, working Monday to Friday during the day. You’ll be responsible for local runs, moving mainly fridge loads with dry loads when required.

You will be responsible for:

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) vehicle on scheduled local routes
• Transporting chilled goods and monitoring fridge temperatures
• Completing daily walkaround checks and reporting any issues
• Ensuring goods are delivered safely and on time
• Handling basic paperwork and delivery logs
• Following road transport regulations and tachograph requirements
