Job Description
The Driver will transport products in a safe manner and by following proper provincial regulations. Delivers products to customers on time while providing excellent customer service as the face of the company.
- Must have class 1 license
Responsibilities
- Operate a truck in a safe and professional manner at all times.
- Deliver products to customers on time, while providing complete customer service.
- Transfer materials and items from truck to dock area or other designated area by hand, hand truck, electric pallet jack, or manual pallet jack.
- Communicate with customers regarding deliveries, returns, etc.
- Maintain logs daily and comply with all other Provincial Transportation procedures/regulations.
- Conduct Pre-trip and Post-trip truck inspections of tractor and trailer units, in compliance with provincial regulations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
