Class 1 Driver

The Best Connection Melksham are looking for a reliable Class 1 driver to join our Radstock based client's driving team. You will be working any 2-4 days between Monday and Saturday 13:00 to 21:30, with our friendly & supportive client.

• £16.00 per hour
• 2 to 4 shifts between Monday & Saturday

Using a hand-held scanner and a route planner, you will be making one drop per shift to any of their clients around the South and South-West. You will also be performing daily vehicle checks, reporting any defects and maintaining a high standard of customer service.

Requirements

• A valid Cat CE licence
• 6 months Commercial driving experience
• A good level of fitness (as some heavy lifting)
• Proficient in using technical aids such as PDA's and Sat-Navs
• Experience in making timed delivieries essential
