A Day in the Life of a Class 1 Driver As a Day Shift Class 1 Driver, you'll play a key role in keeping deliveries moving smoothly and ensuring customers receive their goods on time. Your day will involve carrying out deliveries and collections between depots and customer locations, while providing a professional and friendly service. Manual handling is part of the role, so you will be expected to assist with loading and unloading parcels where required. You'll also use handheld devices and company systems to update delivery information, record completed jobs, and stay in touch with the transport team throughout your shift.
