Class 1 Driver-Halifax

John Ross & Sons Ltd. is the largest scrap metal recycling facility in Atlantic Canada and we are committed to exceeding our customer's expectations. We are currently seeking an energetic and safety minded Class 1 driver to join our team based in Halifax. Previous driving experience (3+years in Canada) and a clean driving record is a must.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Ensuring safety and security of cargo
• Hauling various scrap products
• Gather appropriate paperwork for deliveries
• Properly record hours and mileage in logbook
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle
• Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to management

Qualifications and Skills

• Must hold valid Class 1 License
• Clean Drivers Abstract
• Minimum 3 years driving experience in Canada
