The Best Connection is currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 1 (CE) Night Driver for a busy logistics operation based in Doncaster, near the airport.

This is a temporary role, ideal for drivers looking for flexible work, covering holiday leave and sickness absence. You'll be completing night trunking and delivery runs, ensuring operations continue smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out night trunking and delivery work in a Class 1 (CE) vehicle
  • Provide holiday and sickness cover as required
  • Conduct pre- and post-vehicle checks and report defects
  • Ensure all runs are completed safely, efficiently, and on time
  • Follow all Driver Hours, WTD, and road safety regulations
  • Maintain a professional and reliable approach at all times
