HGV Class 1 Driver Ongoing Monday to Friday Work Preston (PR2) We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Preston (PR2). This is an ongoing Monday to Friday role with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract with the company. Job Details: Role: HGV Class 1 Driver (Collections Only) Location: Preston (PR2) Start Date: Immediate Pay Rate: £15.28 per hour + 28 days paid holiday After 12 weeks: £16.36 per hour + 28 days paid holiday Overtime paid at x1.5 after 40 hours Schedule: Monday to Friday Type: Ongoing work / temp-to-perm opportunity Key Responsibilities: Carry out collection-only routes (no deliveries) Complete up to 10 collection stops per day Perform manual handling when required Ensure safe and compliant vehicle operation Complete paperwork and follow site procedures Requirements: Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience Good knowledge of UK road networks R...
