Become a valued Class 1 Driver with ABC Recycling in Terrace, B.C. and play a crucial role in our operations transporting scrap metal to support sustainable practices.
We are looking for a Class 1 Truck Driver experienced in hauling scrap metal to our Terrace location and partner sites. Successful candidates will possess a clean driving record along with experience in operating roll-off trucks and self-loading cranes. You will be responsible for completing daily logs and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips
• Communicate effectively with customers during transport
• Adhere to commercial driving safety regulations
• Follow stringent load securement practices
• Execute timely instructions from Dispatch
Requirements:
• Must have a valid Class 1 license with air brakes
• Preferably 3-4 years’ driving experience
• Knowledge of end dump trucks considered an asset
