Class 1 Driver – Fluid Hauler

Position Summary

Our GFL Fort McMurray Team is looking for a Class 1 Tank Truck Driver. The driver will transport various liquid wastes from customer sites throughout Alberta using predominantly a tri‑drive/quad combination. This position is Monday through Friday and will be based out of Fort McMurray, Alberta.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee cargo handling and secure loads, including equipment preparation, application of safe practices, and compliance with applicable Acts and regulations.
• Familiar with government documents such as manifests and perform trip inspections on equipment operated and loaded to ensure safety and roadworthiness.
• Comply with applicable legislation including safe operation, carriage of goods, driver’s hours of service, occupational health and safety, transportation of dangerous goods, customs and immigration, and weights and dimensions.
