The Excavation Team at Alternative Group works on a wide range of projects, including sewer and water installation, total lot clearing, demolition, site preparation excavation and backfilling.
Excavation Class 1 Driver – Join Our Team!
Are you an experienced Class 1 driver with a knack for hauling heavy equipment and materials? Do you take pride in safe, efficient transportation and working as part of a strong team? If so, we want you on board!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Operating tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tandem trucks to transport heavy equipment and materials
- Securing cargo properly and ensuring safe transport to and from job sites
- Conducting pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Performing basic maintenance and reporting any vehicle issues
- Following all safety regulations and company policies
- Assisting the excavation crew with unloading and site setup as needed
