Job SummaryThe truck driver is responsible for the safe operation of a “B” train truck and trailer combination while transporting materials between Manitoba and Ontario. The driver must ensure that the load is secure, paperwork is accurate, complete, and handed into the office in a timely manner. The driver must maintain constant communication with dispatch, plan their route, ensure the truck is equipped with the necessary load securement supplies, follow all Ministry of Transportation safety protocols, properly inspect the truck, trailer, and load. The driver should participate in all required training and act in a professional manner at all times. This position reports to the Operations Manager.
