Job Description

Driver Hire Chester and North Wales are currently looking to recruit a Class 1 ADR driver for our client based in Sandycroft to work 3 to 4 days a week with a 4am Start, typically 8/10 hr days this is a temp position to April 2026

The role involves:

  • Conducting daily checks on vehicles to maintain road worthiness and comply with company and legal standards

  • Ensuring tachograph records are compliant in line with WTD and drivers hours regulations

  • Maintaining vehicle cleanliness inside and outside of cab, reporting defects and incidents promptly

  • Collection from their depots across the North East and delivery to their depot in Sandycroft

    • You will need:

  • HGV Class 1 driving licence

  • Current drivers CPC

  • Current ADR licence (Class 2 Gases, Tanks)

  • Experience of fuels/Oils/Gas is essential, Hoses, coupling etc..
