Claims Technician, Liability

Role Overview

Reporting to the Claims Manager, the Claims Technician, Liability is a core member of HUB International’s claims team. You will manage your own portfolio of liability claims files end-to-end, applying your investigative skills, coverage knowledge, and commitment to service to resolve claims efficiently and accurately. You’ll work within a collaborative, structured team environment that values accountability, professional development, and excellence in claims handling.

Responsibilities

• Manage an active portfolio of claims files from first notice of loss through to resolution
• Engage third party adjusters and assist with conducting thorough coverage analysis and damage assessments within your delegated authority limits
• Establish and adjust reserves with sound documentation and negotiate settlements within authority limits
