Claims Examiner – 6 Month Contract

Overview

We're looking for a Claims Examiner to manage multi-line commercial property and casualty claims with a focus on reserve analysis, claim investigation, and resolution. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills and will operate within a hybrid work model in Toronto.

Responsibilities

• Confirm and interpret coverage under applicable insurance contracts, protect Temple's rights, and resolve coverage issues.
• Ensure claims are investigated, managed, and assessed promptly and professionally, including determination of potential and ultimate loss exposures and probable ultimate cost reserving.
• Develop, analyze, and maintain claim information to keep reserves at appropriate levels and recognize and act on adverse exposure developments.
