Job Opportunity: Claims & Contracts Expert (Major Road Infrastructure)
We are seeking a seasoned Claims & Contracts Expert to join our team overseeing large-scale road construction projects across East Africa. This is a high-impact role requiring a strategic thinker who can navigate complex international contracts and safeguard project interests in a dynamic environment.
Key Requirements
* Experience: Minimum 15 years of professional experience in contract management and claims, specifically on major road and highway projects.
* Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Law. A post-graduate qualification in Construction Law or Arbitration is highly desirable.
* Expertise: Deep fluency in FIDIC Conditions of Contract (Red and Yellow books) and experience with multilateral development bank (MDB) procurement guidelines.
* Regional Context: Proven track record of working on infrastructure projects within East Africa or similar emerging markets.
