Civil Technician

Position Description

Contribute to a variety of Civil Engineering projects with a focus on fieldwork and site support while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across TBTE’s diverse engineering divisions. Apply technical skills in field testing, construction inspection, site investigation, and data collection to support project delivery and ensure designs are constructible, accurate, and compliant with applicable standards.

Position Responsibilities

• Perform soil, concrete, asphalt, and other material sampling and testing on‑site and in the laboratory.
• Conduct on‑site construction inspections and monitor civil works including roads, grading, drainage, utilities, and earthworks.
• Collect and record field data, including survey and geotechnical information, for use in design and reporting.
