A growing A&E consulting firm in Akron is seeking to hire a Civil / Structural Engineering Manager to design, oversee projects and supervise the work while providing leadership. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license is required. Seeking 25 years of experience in the following areas; Chemicals, Petrochemicals, Polymers / Resins compounding, and Manufacturing. Be responsible for signing and sealing governmental permitting procedures. Strong knowledge of building codes. Able to meet deadlines and deliver projects within budgets. Proficient in using Microsoft Office, STAAD, STADD Foundation, Bluebeam and AutoCAD. Other software that would be a plus is Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, Tekla Tedds, Hilti PROFIS & RAM Elements.
