Summary of responsibilities
Under the supervision of the CSA Director (Civil, Structural & Architectural), the selected candidate will be part of the team dedicated to the engineering of light and heavy industrial buildings. More specifically, they will be responsible for:
Design and prepare calculation notes for concrete structures in heavy industrial buildings. Design and prepare calculation notes for steel structures in heavy industrial buildings. Review and assisting in the preparation of engineering drawings, design specifications, standard documents and engineering reports. Follow-up with site construction, steel fabricators and review shop drawings. Check 2D drawings and 3D models for clashes and constructability issues with other disciplines. Participate in the preparation of estimates, bills of quantities, schedules and budgets. Ensure plans comply with guidelines, building code requirements, and international standards and regulations.
