Civil Security Coordinator – Fire Safety

Under the supervision of the Civil Security Director, the Civil Security Coordinator‑Fire Safety oversees, assists and undertakes tasks related to the coordination and supervision of the activities of the Civil Security Department of the Kativik Regional Government.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the implementation and compliance of the regional Nunavik Fire Safety Cover Plan (NFSCP).
• Coordinates and supervises employees responsible for the implementation of the NFSCP.
• Assists the Northern Villages in matters concerning Fire Safety and prevention including the implementation of an Inspection and Prevention Framework for municipal buildings and infrastructures in Nunavik communities.
