Job Description

Dawson Civil is looking for an experienced Estimator who will skillfully assess costs, collaborate with stakeholders and partners, and leverage industry expertise to deliver precise and competitive estimates.

In this role you will be a valued member of , working in a permanent, full-time position of Estimator, reporting to the Manager Operations. To be considered for this role, you should have effective interpersonal skills, a collaborative attitude and extensive knowledge of a variety of estimating methods and techniques. Your base location will be Kamloops, BC and will require travel throughoutour great province.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

  • Prepare a comprehensive project cost estimate including; labour, equipment, materials, safety, subcontractors, overhead, taxes, insurance, and mark-up.
  • Review drawings and understand the contract documents of each tender.
