In this position with the City of Merritt, you will coordinate and inspect municipal projects. Your two or more years of experience in civil engineering will be crucial as you review designs and ensure compliance with regulations. Collaborate with various departments and contribute to effective infrastructure solutions while managing fieldwork.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee inspection and coordination of municipal projects
• Analyze preliminary and detailed design submissions
• Engage in GIS data collection and management
• Work alongside Public Works on troubleshooting
• Compile and maintain municipal record drawings
Requirements:
• Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or similar
• Two or more years in civil engineering field
• Proficient with GIS, AutoCAD, MS Office
