Tractebel Inc. (Canada) is expanding its team and seeks an experienced Civil Engineer for nuclear, hydropower, transportation, and electricity transmission projects. The role, based in Markham with relocation to downtown Toronto, requires a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and calculations of nuclear-related structures and buildings subjected to internal and external hazards.
• Anticipate problems and project needs regarding civil engineering.
• Provide technical oversight of reinforcement detailers and review detailing models and drawings.
• Offer expert oversight and technical direction to teams completing the design of reinforced concrete structures.
• Perform structural analyses using FEM code.
