Job Description

Our Sault Ste. Marie technical team is looking for a Civil Engineer to join their team on-site who will plan, organize and direct engineering activities to optimize wind and hydropower facilities. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team that provides technical support to our operations groups and completes capital projects for our Ontario assets.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as project manager for projects involving dams, hydroelectric developments, and wind facilities;
  • Manage investment projects and asset maintenance at each stage, including identification, definition, scope development, planning, execution, closing and transfer to the Operation’s team;

  • Manage and/or participate in projects such as managing work, RFP’s, specs and drawings, proposal review and contract award, tendering phase, debriefing, quality assurance and finalization;
