Civil Engineer

Description

- Assist in design of civil site and infrastructure facilities, including but not limited to utilities (sanitary, water, storm), drainage, stormwater management, and erosion controls plans - Assist in preparation of construction documents and reports such as stormwater management plans, project specifications, construction details, quantities/estimates, alternatives analyses, agency coordination and permitting applications - Conduct stormwater modeling and drainage studies for commercial, industrial, and municipal projects - Perform construction and erosion control inspections, documentation and fieldwork - Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for stormwater and sanitary sewer systems, including pipe sizing, culvert design, roof drain systems, and detention/retention pond design - Participate in meetings with project teams, clients, and the general public
