Civil Engineer (Central Vancouver)

We have an immediate opening for a Civil Engineer. The technical focus will be on structural engineering and/or site (civil) design for substations and power delivery facilities.

Responsibilities

• Structural engineering responsibilities include development of design criteria, structure design, foundation design, building design, and related works. Structure design primarily consists of standard shape steel structure, specification of tubular steel structures, fire walls, and related facilities. Foundation design primarily consists of drilled pier, shallow/pad, and spread footing foundations. Civil Engineer should have the ability to learn and apply various software design packages such as Visual Analysis, STAAD.Pro, Risa, LPILE, MFAD, and CAISSON.
