What a Product Engineer does at HP:

• Own the form, fit and function of HP Print-heads and will provide engineering resolutions to product/manufacturing issues.
• Implement a strong Product Quality System across the value chain, driving Product Qualification/Change Management processes.
• Provide resolution and implement engineering solution to product/manufacturing issue
• Engage R&D and Product Development to enable New Product Introductions and Extensions
• Identify the risks early in the program and determine the test methods needed to characterize the product to ensure we meet the end-customer needs.  This is especially true in any product or process NUD's
• Throughout the program, characterize the product to ensure we understand the risks and what it would take to address the risks
• Drive Product Qualification processes
