Job Description
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Data Management Coordinator (DMC) is responsible for all aspects of NASA's Aircraft Management Information System (NAMIS) administration and ensuring compliance with NAMIS requirements and inputs/outputs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Administer the NAMIS maintenance system and maintain aircraft logs and records in accordance with NPR 7900.3 and AOD 34100.
Coordinate Contractor personnel access permissions and assigned roles, create templates for assigned assets, and establish inspection baseline information including NASA approved deviations.
Collaborate with other staff members involved with executing information and data management systems and functions.
Possess a high level of communication, coordination, analytical and technical skills.
Must be familiar with the NAMIS system or military/industry maintenance tracking equivalent.
