Job Title: Support Worker – Children’s Residential Home

Location: Abertillery, Monmouthshire, Wales

Salary: £28,288 per year (inclusive of sleeps)

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day care and support for children and young people in Abertillery
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Support individual care plans and daily routines
• Maintain accurate records and reports
• Work effectively with colleagues and external professionals

Requirements

• Previous experience in residential childcare or a similar setting is desirable
• A caring, patient, and resilient nature
• Ability to work a variety of shifts, including sleep-ins in Abertillery
• NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People (or willingness to work towards)
