Summary of Position

The incumbent supports student mental health and well‑being by providing social‑emotional supports in culturally responsive ways. The Child and Youth Worker works closely with school staff to help students build skills in identifying and managing emotions, stress management, relationship skills, self‑awareness, sense of identity, and problem solving. The role empowers students toward positive change by fostering belonging and engagement.

Job Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• College diploma in Child and Youth Worker Program, Social Work, or equivalent experience and training.

The names of three professional references, including a current immediate supervisor, are required.
