Job Overview

The Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre is seeking a part-time Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist. This group provides inpatient and outpatient mental health and addiction care to the catchment area of people living in Cumberland County through a wide range of mental health and addiction services.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and coordination of community-based care, and secondary and tertiary level health care.
• Provide direct clinical outpatient care.
• Provide emergency medicine services in conjunction with our crisis team.
• Operate within the Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of Nova Scotia Health Authority.
• Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities.

Expected Hours

Permanent Part‑Time (0.5 FTE). Ability to combine with additional part‑time work in the Zone. Call is required, shared amongst the group.

Remuneration

$236.01 per hour.
