Chief Wastewater Plant Operator

Description This job functions as the chief wastewater plant operator for the City of Ingleside, TX, overseeing, supervising, and participating in the operation and maintenance of the wastewater treatment plant and collection system. Daily inspections are performed to ensure plant and equipment are in proper working order; preventative maintenance on equipment within and around the plant is carried out; records and reports are prepared and maintained; and related work as apparent and assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Assistant Public Works Director. Departmental supervision is exercised over all personnel within the department.
