This role, spanning from May 1 to April 30, requires the Chief Returning Officer to effectively manage election logistics. You will be responsible for conducting elections, handling nominations, and ensuring compliance with Bylaws. Engaging and supporting student participation through forums will also be a key aspect of this dynamic role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage election logistics, including balloting and ads
• Submit detailed reports to the Speaker post-elections
• Determine and announce nomination deadlines
• Facilitate referenda and oversee their execution
• Organize forums for candidate engagement and education
