Main Purpose
Partnering with the CEO and executive team, the Chief Operating Officer will have overarching responsibility for all day-to-day operations.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements 7+ years' experience in insurance management with high levels of sales, operational and financial knowledge. 5 years' experience as a department head, team leader or senior level position within an agency. Superior negotiation and presentation skills with strong entrepreneurial spirit. BCom in finance or related field. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points up to date. Strong insurance knowledge for commercial lines & personal lines. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Creative problem-solving skills along with exceptional time management and attention to detail. Afrikaans speaking. Tasks Contribute to, develop, and implement agency marketing plan as well as vision for the agency. Possess a good working knowledge of procedures, processes for all disciplines.
