Chemist III

The Chemist III will analyze samples using complex instrumentation such as, but not limited to, GC, GC-MS, IC, TOC analyzer, Spectrophotometer, ICP, ICP-MS, and Mercury Analyzers using CVAA and CVAFD technology. The Chemist III will also provide peer assistance with maintenance and troubleshooting of instruments, and assist in the development of new methods or modifications to procedures. This individual will have experience and background performing environmental tests beyond education. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and/or analyze samples according to approved test methods and SOPs using complex instrumentation. Prepare standard solutions and reagents for use in testing. Work directly with Lab Manager to ensure accurate, timely, and complete results are provided on all samples.
