Job Description
altM's Engineering team is responsible for converting the R&D team's research into actionable engineering and manufacturing deliverables for production. The candidate understands how to best design for chemicals manufacturing, and will conceptualise and implement full-scale production systems.
Responsibilities:
- Support with engineering and scale-up works of new chemical technologies, including process modeling, mass/energy balances, and feasibility studies.
- Support with design and engineering of new equipment, such as reactors, piping systems, and pumps, using tools like AutoCAD, or Python for simulations.
- Participate in the commissioning of newly installed pilot plants, including equipment testing, troubleshooting, safety checks, and performance optimization.
- Conduct literature reviews, data analysis, and lab-scale experiments to support technology development.
