Job Description
Packages product using BOM’s, Batch sheets and SOP’s, paying strict attention to safety directives, process and quality instructions and charge quantities as indicated.
Conducts safe operation of plant equipment including (but not limited to) forklifts, mixing tanks, reactors, pumps, etc.
Uses DCS as necessary to control equipment as needed for packaging
Troubleshoots process problems and takes corrective action. Seeks assistance when necessary. Takes corrective actions when alarm conditions exist. Takes actions necessary in an emergency to help minimize danger to personnel and the environment.
Works overtime as necessary to assure operating & production needs are met and to ensure on-time delivery of materials to customers
Assists Operator II and Foremen as needed to produce batches. Actively seeks to learn batch making process techniques and equipment.
