About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Chef to join our Catering Services team in Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. The role involves preparing high‑quality, nutritious meals for patients, visitors and staff in a large‑scale production kitchen.

Working hours are 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis, with shifts between 6:00 am and 7:00 pm, including weekends and Bank Holidays.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of fresh meals using approved recipes and menus.
  • Ensuring food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality, safety and presentation.
  • Supporting the delivery of patient meals, including special dietary requirements.
  • Maintaining excellent standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety at all times.
