Overview:
A Chef is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting high-quality dishes while maintaining food safety, hygiene standards, and kitchen efficiency. Roles may vary from junior to senior level depending on experience and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes in line with menu specifications
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Follow food hygiene, allergen, and health & safety regulations (HACCP)
  • Assist in menu planning and development (senior chefs)
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and minimize waste
  • Ensure kitchen cleanliness and organization always
  • Work effectively as part of a kitchen team during busy service periods
  • Supervise junior staff (for senior roles such as Sous Chef).
