Responsibilities

  • Prepare daily food items and complete assigned duties to meet company quality standards
  • Ensure compliance with all legally required hygiene and safety practices and maintain cleanliness and safety in the kitchen and related areas
  • Coordinate daily tasks effectively with team members to support smooth kitchen operations
  • Assist in supervising line cooks or commis chefs as needed to maintain workflow and quality
  • Estimate daily production needs and inspect raw and cooked food products to ensure quality standards are met
  • Maintain high quality in food production, preparation, and presentation at all times
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, food quality, operational efficiency, and food costs continuously
  • Apply knowledge of standard procedures and policies for food preparation, receiving, storage, and sanitation
