Responsibilities
- Execute mise-en-place efficiently, including setting up ingredients, preparing production batches, and maintaining cleanliness and organisation of your workstation
- Prepare a wide range of ingredients and production items while meeting the highest standards of taste, consistency, and presentation
- Support daily kitchen production operations to ensure timely preparation and availability of products
- Check and maintain the quality and freshness of ingredients and finished products
- Monitor inventory levels, ingredient quality, and coordinate stock ordering when shortages arise
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
- Assist in optimising workflow and production efficiency within the kitchen operations
- Be a role model and guide junior team members
