Chef De Partie – Independent school Glastonbury Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: 14.02; Hours: 40 per week
Millfield Prep School is an independent co‑educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 2 to 13, located in Glastonbury, Somerset . We cater for around 550 pupils and staff each day, providing a core feeding offer of breakfast, lunch and supper, and a vibrant hospitality service.
This is a 52‑week operation running 7 days a week, with additional weekend residential activity for boarders, creating a varied and engaging working environment. It is set in a large campus with outstanding facilities in the heart of Somerset countryside.
Working Schedule
The role operates on a 5 days out of 7 rota , with some weekend work during term time. Key points include:
- No late evenings
- Sociable hours compared to traditional hospitality roles
- Time off over Christmas and New Year
