  • Prepare and present high-quality dishes in accordance with established standards

  • Take responsibility for a designated section within the kitchen

  • Ensure consistency, quality and presentation of all food leaving the kitchen

  • Assist with menu preparation and daily mise en place

  • Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering requirements

  • Ensure all food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained

  • Work closely with senior chefs to ensure smooth kitchen operations

  • Assist with training and supporting junior kitchen staff where required
