Job Title: Chef Grade II Reports to: Head Chef or Deputy Location: Bon Secours Hospital Dublin Job Purpose To assist in the preparation of food in the catering operation. The fundamental philosophy guiding this position is to promote and preserve the Bon Secours Mission, Values and Ethos. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Principal Duties To assist in the preparation of food in the catering operation. To assist in the preparation of food orders when required. To prepare an innovative and creative salad bar menu and implement same. To check and sign food deliveries. To take full responsibility for hygiene in the kitchen area. To assist in stocktaking when required. To perform any reasonable tasks which assist with the services, food preparation, hygiene and other matters appertaining to the efficient running of the catering operation.
