Job Description

Job Summary:

The Checker is responsible for verifying and recording the accuracy of products, ingredients, and inventory coming in and out of the commissary. This role ensures that all items are properly accounted for, meet quality standards, and are in accordance with the commissary's operational requirements. The Checker plays a key role in maintaining food safety, product quality, and inventory accuracy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Receiving and Checking Deliveries

  • Verify the accuracy of delivered items by cross-referencing invoices or purchase orders with actual goods received.
  • Inspect products for quality, freshness, and compliance with food safety standards.
  • Record any discrepancies in quantity or quality and report them to the Commissary Manager or Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Ensure that all perishable items are stored immediately in appropriate temperature-controlled environments.
