Job Description
The Chargeman (AO) is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, and supervision of High Voltage (HV) electrical installations up to 33kV, including associated Low Voltage (LV) systems. The role ensures all electrical activities comply with the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) regulations, company standards, and statutory requirements.
Job Responsibilities:
Operate, maintain, and supervise high voltage (up to 33kV) and low voltage electrical installations in accordance with the scope of the AO license.Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of switchboards, transformers, switchgears, MCCs, and distribution systems.Ensure all works are performed in compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST) and Occupational Safety and Health (DOSH) regulations.Conduct daily inspection, monitoring, and testing of HV/LV systems to ensure safe operation and minimal downtime.Identify electrical faults, perform troubleshooting, and implemen...
